1. Why are war video games so popular now?
2. "If it's not realistic, it's not worth playing," is a quote in the article. Do you think realistic war games desensitive people to the horror of war or is it just fun?
3. What do you personally think of war video games?

War video games are so popular now due all the innovations in today's video game industry. War games have come in a variety of situations that simulate certain historic events of our time. War games can be seen in two perspectives-either they are enjoyable to play or encourage violence by exposing guns to younger audiences that see or play war games.

In my opinion war games desensetive people to the horrors of war. I see war games all the time depicting the true horrors of war. When people play a character may die but you can choose to spawn the character anytime whereas in a real war, people only have one life and they can feel the pain and suffering around them. However i find war games fun and i know that i have become desensitive to war from it but I can still determine the effects that war has on us as human beings.

Personally war games are great to play. I play war games because they are fun to play and I'm mature enough to never underestimate the horrors of war. Besides that, there is a company called ESRB that rates the video games based on their content, so before assuming that it desensetives the horrors of war you should make sure you know and enforce the age group playing the games.
